Background :
As the new tourist season approached, the Finist’Mer shipping company needed to modernize its digital presence to showcase its flagship destinations (Ouessant, Molène, Sein, etc.). The challenge was to provide a more fluid and immersive user experience while seamlessly integrating a complex ticketing system (LS-RESA API). The site also had to meet strict performance criteria, ensure excellent visibility on search engines, and be easily manageable by internal teams.
What I Implemented :
UX Audit and UI Design: Redesigned the user journey to facilitate access to information (schedules, fares) and optimize conversion points (“Book,” “Buy a Gift Certificate”). Highlighting the brand identity through the integration of new graphic elements (Cap-Sizun logo, immersive visuals).
Custom integration using Elementor: Development of a modular and 100% responsive WordPress architecture, designed to adapt perfectly to mobile usage (which is very prevalent in the tourism sector).
API & Ticketing Integration: Technical integration of the external booking widget (LS-RESA) directly into the interface to streamline the company’s sales funnel.
Results :
An immersive website that takes a back seat to the user experience: travelers enjoy an intuitive booking process, from exploring the destination to purchasing their ticket. On the client side, the Finist’Mer team benefits from a powerful, secure tool and greatly simplified content management, allowing them to approach the peak season with complete peace of mind.
